SUMMER SCICOMM INTERNSHIP
My name is Maya Vallinayagam and I am a Science Communication Intern for this summer. I am an incoming college Senior at San José State University majoring in Biology. I joined to be an intern this summer to help learn more about editorial writing and write scientific beauty articles. I like being able to combine my two interests of beauty and science in my articles.
I have previous experience doing research which inspired me to want to write my own articles. I want to help make science easily accessible to a general audience. I enjoy writing scientific articles for Dr. Kuver and exploring ways to help break down the information. I am excited to put out new beauty scientific articles!
